Abstract

Background: The digital transformation of the professional landscape has introduced heightened levels of uncertainty, cognitive load, and psychological pressure. In this context, developing robust tools to enhance an individual's internal psychological resources has become critical, with coaching emerging as a primary intervention for professional development and well-being.

Objective: This research identifies the core psychological mechanisms of coaching and evaluates their contribution to professional self-realisation within digitised working environments.

Methodology: The study employs a theoretical-analytical approach supplemented by a secondary analysis of international statistical reports. Using systematisation and comparative analysis, the research delineates the primary elements of coaching and explores their synergy with modern digital tools.

Results: The findings indicate that coaching significantly enhances self-reflection, self-regulation, emotional stability, and adaptive motivation. These psychological mechanisms function as a complex, integrated system where cognitive and emotional processes interact dynamically. Furthermore, the results suggest that AI-based systems and online technologies can dramatically reinforce these mechanisms by providing real-time reflection prompts and tracking individual progress.

Conclusion: Coaching serves as a powerful instrument for expanding internal psychological resources and ensuring professional flexibility amidst rapid digital shifts. The integration of traditional psychological frameworks with technological assistance creates a more resilient path for self-realisation.

Unique Contribution: The study advances the concept of hybrid coaching, a psychologico-digital system that merges traditional interpersonal processes with technological support. It offers an organised framework of the central components of coaching, specifically tailored for professional self-realisation in the 21st century.

Key Recommendation: Future research should focus on empirically validating the long-term outcomes of digital coaching models. Specifically, studies should aim to optimise the interaction between human-centred coaching and AI-assisted tools to ensure ethical and effective professional development.
